A renowned bus manufacturer required a mobile work platform for the assembly of the rear dome. Key considerations included ease of operation and mobility by two employees, ergonomic design at the assembly station, a non-electric execution, and a stable, reliable, and standard-compliant construction.

Our Solution
Work Platform Concept
As a supplement to the existing rear platform of EvoBus GmbH Mannheim, a mobile work platform was developed. This platform enables efficient and ergonomic assembly of the rear dome on the bus, supported by an integrated, manually adjustable lift for the rear dome and assembly materials.
Technical Implementation and Safety
The platform is equipped with edge protection to protect the rear window during assembly works. The platform's dimensions are 650 mm in length, 2000 mm in width, and 1200 mm in height. The total width is 1700 mm. The platform surface is made of wood screen print. Mobility is provided by casters with a diameter of 160 mm, equipped with a dead man's brake. Access is via a safety door.
Load Capacities
The platform's surface load is 1.5 kN/m², the total load capacity is 200 kg, and the step load is 150 kg, highlighting the robustness and reliability of the construction.
